The Solar Energy Industries Association (SEIA) is the national trade association for the solar and storage industry and represents more than 1,000 member companies and 255,000 Americans working across the United States. Internship Description:
SEIA is seeking a marketing intern within our Business Development department to assist in executing ongoing email marketing campaigns, audience/target research, campaign data analysis, marketing materials, event promotion, list segmentation, A/B testing, and more.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Collaborate with Marketing Manager on email campaigns and content calendar
- Regularly update and review collateral using design software for event promotion, membership marketing materials, etc.
- Generate reports and targeted lists as needed by Business Development team
- Assist in further developing brand exposure at the largest solar event in North America September 2024
- Explore and research areas of growth within the department
- Other projects as assigned
Requirements:
- Proactive Learner
- Detail-oriented with an eye for design
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Exceptional organization skills and ability to manage multiple priorities under changing timelines
- Team player who is also self-motivated to work independently
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite; PowerPoint is a priority
- Experience with Salesforce/CRM engagement and MS Outlook preferred
- Experience with Adobe Creative Suite is a plus
- Interest in solar and clean energy space preferred

Compensation:

Working Conditions
- This position is 20-25 hours/week
- This internship is based in the Washington, DC office
- Interns MUST be in the office on designated team days (3 days a week) and specifically on Wednesdays for cohort touch base.
