Responsibilities & Duties
- Provide leadership and guidance to site management, fostering a culture of grit, collaboration, and respect.
- Maintains compliance around operational policies and procedures and relevant regulations.
- Document, develop and optimize business processes and system workflows.
- Processes purchase orders and requisitions for materials, supplies, and equipment.
- Oversee relationships with external vendors and suppliers, negotiating cost down strategies thru supply /demand process improvements.
- Drafts, explains, and implements instructions, policies, and procedures for purchasing and contract management.
- Support site managers with administering location budgets and contributing to P&L reviews.
- Lead monthly close process with operations and accounting teams.
- Support collaborative development, execution, and management of comprehensive operational strategies and key performance indicators (KPIs) with management.
- Continuously assess and streamline operational workflows to improve efficiency and proactively identify opportunities and risks.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to refine business requirements and to ensure alignment to organizational goals.
- Contribute to inventory/asset tracking systems development, including participation in RFQs and new system implementations.
- Provides regular, consistent, and accurate reporting to Ops Management Team.
- Assists with project communication and documentation regarding status of projects.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Some off-site work and/or travel to multiple facilities may be required.
- Must have reliable transportation.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, supply chain management, manufacturing, or engineering.
- Minimum 5+ years’ experience in general business operations, data center, manufacturing, or supply chain industries. Experience in BTC mining industry is highly desirable.
- 3+ years’ experience in supervisory or managerial roles
- Deep understanding of accounting, with specific focus on budgeting and accounts payable procedures, compliance, and ability to work with complex data sets and systems.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong technical leadership, strategic “systems thinking” and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively in fast-paced, dynamic environments.
