Project summary

Fellows live and work in coastal communities, providing critical capacity to address community-based climate challenges. 

Opportunity description

The fellow will work with municipal officials or a community non-profit to plan, fundraise, and project manage climate-based projects that will help rural coastal communities better adapt to changing conditions.

Requirements and qualifications

Requirements

Earned an associate, baccalaureate, or graduate degree within five years. Ability and willingness to travel to off-site locations, including by boat. Eligibility to work in the US Ability to reside full time in the community where the fellowship is located.

Preferred qualifications

Comfort with technology. including systems such as Office 365 applications. Ability to manage time and work with minimal supervision. Ability to work collaboratively in multi-generational settings. Enthusiasm for living and working in small, rural communities.
